LOTD: Black & Brown

::My girlfriend and I were on our way to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings (the food wasn't all that great) and I decided to take a few pics before I left the house. You can tell I was rushing because part of my face is cut off..lol. I went with a brown and black look even though the brown looks almost like a burgandy color. As you can tell my hair has looked almost the same on the last few post because I have been rocking either a ponytail or a bun because i'm getting braids soon and I can't relax my hair. If I wear it down..I will look like a poodle! Lol Well anyways Chicas...I hope you like the look!

My Doggy's Birthday!

::This post as you can see is not makeup or beauty related, but I just HAD to put up pics of my pups 1st Birthday! This sweet little bundle of fur is my Shih Tzu named Raven and she turned one on March 6th. I made her a birthday cake (dog friendly of course) for her and her boyfriend (my sister's shih tzu) and they loved it! I have to admit that I'm one of those dog people that goes crazy over there pets, but she's so cute that I can't help it..she's my baby.

*Her eyes look scary from the camera flash.

::This is little Miss Raven looking so innocent and sweet! She's a very sweet pup, but she is sneaky sneaky sneaky.

::Yum! She ate every last drop of this piece of cake and then wanted more! I call her the hamburglar sometimes because she has stolen food from my youngest nephew a couple of times and she gives you that "what did I do?" look lol

::I made this cake and if your wondering.....yes its dog friendly! =o) My nephew and his friend helped me make the cake part of it and they didn't want to decorate the top of it so I did and this is what I came up with. I need to keep my day job because its kind of sloppy..lol

For those of you that maybe wondering what I used to make this doggy cake..here are the ingredients:

Cake: Ground Chicken, Ground Turkey, Shredded Cheese, Shredded Carrots, Spinach, A jar of Chicken & Vegetable Baby Food, Oats, & an egg

Frosting: The top of the cake is a can of dog food and the white frosting is cream cheese
