Reviews: MAC MV2 Perfume & Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation
::I thought I would do a review on MAC's perfume called "MV2". I know this perfume isn't new or anything, but I thought I would review it for those who are curious about it or for those that didn't even know they had perfume. MAC sells 5 perfumes: MV1, MV2, MV3, Pinkaura, & Turquatic, and I like the MV2 the best. Last week I purchased MAC's Turquatic Perfume (this one is the top seller of there perfume line), but it didn't smell all that great on me, so I exchanged it for the MV2 and it smells sooo good! It has a soft vanilla, Lemony, and kind of sweet smell and some of you may even like it as a fall or winter scent, because of it's cozy but delicious scent, but I don't follow the rules and I will be wearing this until I'm tired of it! lol
Cool, calm, and classic. Vanilla teased with lemon, melted with lavender creme, and then given a warming shot of vanilla bourbon mixed with vanilla mousse and heliotrope.
Rating: 4 Stars ****
Price: $22.50
Pros: It smells really soft and kind of sweet and the scent stays on you all day. The price of $22.50 so it won't break the bank.
Cons: The bottle is more packaging then perfume.
::Okay, I've had this foundation for a few months now and I finally decided to do a review on it. I have it in the color Caramel (I'm between NC45-NC50) and it has pretty good coverage. I was very surprised that I was able to find a color that matched my skin well because I have NEVER EVER been able to wear any of Maybelline's foundations because they are either too light or too dark for me. This foundation glides on smoothly and you don't need too use much to get full coverage and it does give the appearance of an airbrush look. My gripe about this foundation is that it DID NOT stay on all day and it made my face oily! I applied a primer underneath it and a powder over it and it just won't stay on past a couple hours. =o(I can't remember if I purchased this at Target or Walgreens, but it was around $7 or $8 and that's good because these stores usually have some sort of sell on it or you may find a coupon for it. Overall, I will not buy it again and I probably won't use the rest of this because I would have to keep applying it all day.
Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation

Pros: It covers very well for a drugstore brand and it does give an airbrush finish. It's Cheap.
